Default Cake Glaze Question

Try powdered sugar or put the icing sugar in blender till powdered.
Add enough pwdr sugar to make a thin paste. The frosting on cinnamon
rolls, which hardens, is jes pwdr sugar and milk. Should work with
lemon juice if you mix it thick enough.

Think of the glaze recipe as just a good place to start. If it is too
thick, add more juice. If it is too thin, add more sugar - could be quite a
bit. The temperature of your kitchen as well as the humidity will factor
in. We live in probably the humidity capital of the universe. Some things
shouldn't even be attempted except on rare dry days but we do anyway. Polly

It sets up because milk contains some fat... for a thicker glaze use
cream.

Powdered sugar is icing sugar.
