Default US twists Taiwan's arm to allow drug-laced beef

Who do they think they are to tell us what is safe?

We decide what is safe.

Your sarcasm is noted. But I think it's still necessary to address
your last statement. No it won't get better. We (I'm in Canada; but
this applies to the US as well), the people (in general), keep our
heads in the sand or behave like sheep and go baaaah whenever new
legislation comes out. As long as people don't see that the
government is corrupt, then it won't get better. I suppose that's an
obvious statement. Lobbying itself in its current state is 'a' root
of corruption.
