The world is over populated. Humans breed like rats! The world should adopt
the Chinese policy of one child. More food for everyone.

OR

I wonder if the population of those western nations consume too much of
those genetically engineered foods from those seeds that are manufactured
to be sterile. Does sterile seeds cause sterile humans... More research???

Or send more engineered foods to the rest of the world???

Bad hypothesis???

poorer people tend to have more children with an eye to having enough of
them survive to help them in their old age, or to work for the family when
the parents are still young. in richer countries (or families) this is
less of a concern. so yes, bad hypothesis.
