Dang Cleveland, you rock.

I am the lucky recipient of a bottle of Stadium Mustard from
Cleveland.
A co-worker brought it back for me. The bottle that was in her
suitcase was confiscated, but I got one of the two that made it
through in her carry on.

Now where's a danged hot dog when you need one. Not that eating it
straight from the bottle is a bad thing. ;-)

I don't see how they can confiscate this from checked baggage.

Seriously! And I'm surprised it would make it through carry-on. Lucky

They can confiscate it because they can. What prevents them?

You are a really bad person, Steve. I'm a comparatively nice person.
Could I take out, maybe, just a half a dozen?

Mustard inspectors have to eat mustard straight out of the bottle in
order to inspect it. I've seen it happen, and it's not a pretty
sight. However it needs to be done.
I've posted this before, but mustard inspection cannot be taken
lightly.

Very cool! Why did they confiscate the one in her suitcase?
I'm sure it went home with someone and not in the trash! Thieves!

Agreed. Next time dump out some of the mustard and pee in the bottle.
Shake it well to mix. Isn't it called "karma"?

LOL...I don't remember the details but I knew someone who had a
refrigerator lunch thief at work. They didn't know who it was but
they got him with laxative.

Good for you!

The mustard wasn't confiscated; it was nicked

One of my relatives bought some food items from a perfectly legal 'Duty
Free' shop in Europe. Those items are completely OK to bring into the US
as long as they aren't opened prior to landing. But US Customs
'confiscated' those items anyway. Someone had a decent lunch that day!

I'd have expected them to disallow the stuff in the carry-on, not in the
checked bag. Must be rules against interstate trafficking in yellow
mustard. Scumbuckets.
