I find that it picks up off odors easily. I only make as much as I can use
in a day or two. Once you do the math and a few taste tests, it is easy to
make just a pint or half-pint at a time.

It wouldn't pick up odors if it was in an air-tight container. I use a one
quart Rubbermaid bottle.
