Seems to me that I recall a thread lately about Vegas buffets. LA
Times on Thursday rated the following ones as very good: Spice Market Buffet at Aladdin, Buffet Bellagio, Bayside Buffet at Mandalay Bay, Cravings at the Mirage, the Verandah at the Four Seasons, Carnival World Buffet at the Rio, and Cafe Lago at Caesars Palace. Not being one who can stand buffets, but one who frequently goes to Vegas, I can't comment on the buffets, just passing the information along. However, I can comment on a couple of restaurants: the Palm restaurant at Caesars Palace and AJ's steakhouse in the Hard Rock are fabulous. I had the best rack of lamb I've had since a memorable meal in Madrid and the absolute *best* ribeye I have *ever* had at AJ's. Terry "Squeaks" Pulliam Burd AAC(F)BV66.0748.CA "If the soup had been as hot as the claret, if the claret had been as old as the bird, and if the bird's breasts had been as full as the waitress', it would have been a very good dinner." Any tips for Atlantic City's buffets or other restaurants? -- Mikko Peltoniemi Film & Video Editor, Avid Technician at large. http://editor.is.dreaming.org |
