Default Who Forgot the Milk

Hi, All;

I found a nice recipe for pancakes a little while back that called for
the usual stuff, but no milk. I found out the hard way that when you
mix the dry ingredients with only a quarter cup of oil and 1 egg, you
get something like pretzel dough when blended.

Since the recipe's author left out milk, how much does it
take to make decent pancakes?

Ron
