Your precious Waffle Boy could probably win a lot of otherwise Bush votes close to the border by promising to crack down like crazy on the blatant illegal immigration. Bush is way too easy on the Mexican border. But I harbor no illusion that Ketchup Guy would tighten it. |

Kathryn Whitmire came out very early on in support of *** rights.... Texas has an interesting history of *very* progressive politicians/pundits...add Jim Hightower and Molly Ivins to the list.... LBJ was one of the most progressive politicians ever - say what you will about him but he came from a pretty poor background and knew what real grinding poverty was....it's unfortunate that his image is tarnished by Vietnam. In further political news didja hear that that IDIOT Alan Keyes is apparently going to run here in Illannoy for the GOP Senate seat in opposition to Barack Obama? Jeez, the dolt couldn't win in his home state of Maryland...what are people thinking? -- Best Greg |

I got no pop-ups and my anti-virus software detected and destroyed the trojan virus. I agree, Jack should not have posted this link. But I would seriously recommend that you install adequate protection software on your PC. You'll be very happy (an safer) that you did. BTW, I use AVG anti-virus software. It's free. I use several pop-up blockers. They're all free. I also use a fairly comprehensive hosts file which blocks most advertisements (many of which may contain viruses). Just push it for what seems like an eternity, but it's really more like 5 - 10 seconds. > I would like to find a good pop-up killer for mac? :-) Oh, if I only knew! Maybe someone here has an idea, but I can ask around for you. One of my good friends uses Mac. Which OS do you have? For starers, I'd say get youself a "better" browser. If you don't need integrated software, I use a very nice browser called Firefox. I've altered my HOSTS file so I run in stealth mode for 99.99% of unwanted popups. My browser (Firefox) blocks pop ups, I use a router with 2 firewalls in it, plus a personal firewall and antivirus.... so I viewed Jack's URL with absolutely no problem. nanner, nanner ![]() sf Practice safe eating - always use condiments |
