Would shrimp bisque made today keep refrigerated overnight to serve
tomorrow? I know it will be safe but I was wondering about flavor etc. Is it just as good the next day? |

Fish chowders flavor generally decline rapidly, and cream versions can break. Many shrimp bisque recipes say they can be made a day ahead but I'd not... fish stew does not improve the way beef stew does... so how long can it take to cook shrimp, what, 3 minutes? A typical seafood bisque should require no more than 45 minutes, start to finish. ---= BOYCOTT FRENCH--GERMAN (belgium) =--- ---= Move UNITED NATIONS To Paris =--- Sheldon ```````````` "Life would be devoid of all meaning were it without tribulation." |

I just reviewed dear Julia's scallop soup recipe to be sure and, as I remembered, this seafood & cream-rich soup can happily be refrigerated overnight. Float a little cream on top to prevent a skin forming. |
