Default Why price of eggs skyrocketed?

Around here (Pittsburgh) eggs are usually on
sale at least at some of the store for the
holidays - especially T-day, Xmas,and Easter.

I also noticed that the prices were high. I always
buy large eggs and they're usually around $.90 but
they were over a dollar recently except at the store
that had them on sale.
