Default Update on Michael's Condition (Dog30)

Things seem to be looking better. I printed out all the posts and emails and
sent them to Steven's mother, who took them to Michael.

Sarah

"Sarah, GOOD NEWS TONIGHT ABOUT MR. MIKE. They moved him into a step-down
room tonight and said he can get up to go to the bathroom if he calls for
assistance. He of course if still very weak but the pain is much less and his
color is much better. I didn't get to speak to the Doctor but Mike said that
he was pleased with how things were going. They kept the tube in the stomach
but clamped it off for 4 and a half hours and then pumped out anything left in
the stomach and it was a very little amount and he is now going to the bathroom
(on a bed pan first and now with assistance on his own.)

His feet and hands are still swollen so they continue to monitor and watch
carefully the heart. as soon as I know more in the next day or two I will let
you know. Mike was thrilled to read all your messages so thanks again."

For all those spouting jingoes about the need to go to war with Iraq now,
go down on the capital mall and look at the Vietnam Memorial."

Woo-Hoo!!! WTG Michael!! Keep up the healing buddy!

We're still keeping you in our prayers and hoping that you'll be
able to pig out properly at Christmas since you won't be able to
do it on Turkey Day!!

Continue to take care!

Woooohoo! Thank you Jesus.

Thank you Sarah for passing these along.

Will continue to pray for Mike, and his continued recovery. And I will
definitely drink his health tomorrow. (I'm sorry they are only
letting him have water. Obviously that Turkey Soda is coming a year too
late.)
