Have any of you tried this? If so, what's the verdict?

To be honest, it sounds awful (to me)... and what do you think of the
name "iSnack2,0"?

I haven't tried it and doubt I will. It's been out for a while now, unnamed
while the contest was on, but it just doesn't appeal to me. I like my
Vegemite straight, don't even have butter with it, so mixing it with cream
cheese is not my thing.

There are people who like it - but doubt even they will like the name. That
just seems stupid to me.

Haven't tried it Cathy.

I buy Vegimite in B-I-G jars so it takes me a while to get through them
(there are only so many crumpets you can eat).
Doubt if I would, though. Old fart, fixed in ways etc etc.

Never tried the new Isnack 2.0, but original Vegemite is NASTY!! I had
Austrailian housemates in the early 1990's and the last one left me a
jar of Vegemite which I kept in my cupboard. My then young son asked
me about it once, so I got it out and we sampled some. And we BOTH
agreed it's nasty stuff!

I swear, Aussies must baste the gums of their teething infants with
Vegemite and rub it in to assuage their teething pain. That's the only
way I can figure anyone could develop a liking for the nasty stuff!

We don't get Vegemite here, but we do get Marmite, which (from what I've
been told) is pretty similar. I used to love Marmite as a child on
crackers or toast (straight, not mixed with anything), but I only eat
it on the odd occasion nowadays... However, the thought of mixing it
with cream cheese just doesn't appeal to me. Different strokes for
different folks, I suppose. I still think the new name for this
concoction is rather silly tho' <grin>

You probably tried too much at once. Standard advice for new players is
to scrape it onto a piece of buttered toast, then scrape it off. If you
spread it like peanut butter, you're in for a surprise.

I just cannot bring myself to try it. It is the wrong colour!

We go through heaps of vegemite with the grandsons living with us. I
love the stuff and so do they. Husband was born in England so he was
never indoctrinated as a child.

I like it on toast, crumpets, fresh bread and butter, vegemite and
crisp iceberg lettuce sandwiches, vegemite and cheese sandwiches, on
crackers..... hell I'll just about eat it from the jar.

As someone else stated Australians must give it to their teething
babies... Just about, babies in Oz very often have vegemite on
teething rusks!

Sounds awful to me too and I love vegemite. Cream cheese and vegemite is
not something I want together, in fact the only worse idea is its name.

have used it in some stews and soups as well

Re the new name think some add agency ****** liked it but
reckon
stuffing about with Iconic names and brands is doomed .
