I predict many "Mexican" restaurants will go out of business if they
depend
on White customers.

That's ridiculous. We had lunch in our favorite Mexican Restaurant
yesterday. And I'd go back today.

I live in Myrtle Beach SC, with a high illegal Mexican population.
Last night both my aunt and sister-in-law had to be admitted to the
hospital, probably for this flu (right now they have no test
available).

AH, here it is........this flu is being brough specifically to the US by
'illegal' Mexicans hoping to spread disease and mayhem in order to take jobs
and white women from 'legal' white people everywhere.........I grew up near
MB, 'Joe' (if that IS your name) and from the influx of yuppy puppies in
that area, most of the 'white' people who think their crap doesn't stink
feel they are too good for the jobs the Mexicans take....oh, and I'm sure
that these same Mexicans are sacrificing their own health 'just to carry the
disease into this country'.....insurance or not, Medicaid or not, why would
anyone put themselves at risk just to get even with you, American Joe?
Unless you are native american (and I KNOW how the Pembroke and Lumbee
tribes are treated in that neck of the woods) YOU sir are also an immigrant
to the shores of this country.....so if someone got sick in a restaurant in
Myrtle Beach, it probably had nothing to do with where the person handled
the food was born, but more to do with did all parties concerned wash their
hands.....I would wager that if anyone spit in your food it was because you
were an ass in dealing with that person and has nothing to do with where
they were born. Go back to your back yard and continue construction of your
internment camp.

My two cents.
Now, back to food discussions.

Who's got room for an internment camp? I barely have enough room for my
caches of gasoline, water, and weapons!

It is the same everywhere else in regards to the illegals. And not all of
them come from Mexico. The Chamber of Commerce and organizations like that
have a lot of suctions with the politicians. Small business owners make up
the Chamber of Commerce. And they make a much higher profit from
underpaying illegals than they would make if they employed Americans. Once
in a great while the Feds will make a big show of raiding some large
sweatshop. But a small business, such as a car wash, flies under the radar
forever.

Some feel that immigrants provide a net economic benefit to our society, others feel that their family should have been the last immigrants allowed in this country. Now, we should close the doors.

As far as underpaying immigrants, I would love to see the figures on that. None of my employees were underpaid. I laugh when I hear them called, "cheap labor", because trust me, they were not cheap.

BTW, it would have been nice to have English speaking employees so we could have communicated better, but there are some jobs Americans do not want. If you want to get rid of immigrant workers, you first have to convince Americans to work. You are watching the tango, and we are both wearing our dancing shoes.

Only employers breaking the law feel that way.

What do immigrants have to do with this issue? We're talking about
illegals. If they were immigrants, they wouldn't be illegal.

The doors should always be closed for illegals.

None of my employees were underpaid.

Apparently you only hired LEGAL immigrants? Good.

That is totally untrue. Americans don't want to pick fruit for two bucks
per hour. But with no illegal labor, fruit pickers would be paid $10 per
hour, or more possibly. And then lots of Americans would apply to be fruit
pickers! Americans don't want to work jobs where the pay is kept
ARTIFICIALLY low by people who shouldn't even be in this country!

> If you want to get rid of immigrant workers, you first have to convince

Americans to work.

That's easy. Just offer decent wages, and plenty of Americans will don
their work boots. -Dave

Your only problem is that those two things have nothing to do with
each other.

Not true. There is a test, it just has to be done by the CDC. All
hospitals have (or should have) received the info on how to deal with
ANY case suspicious for swine flu A N1H1
