Default REC - Chocolate Oatmeal Cake

I whipped one of these up last night, during one of my rest periods
between packing. Another guy who's staying with us and calls me Mom
requested something chocolate. He sorta knew that you could make a
cake from scratch, but was dumbfounded when he found out that a person
could make frosting at home, to boot. Kids. They're funny.

It is a pleasure to find cake recipes that incorporate ingredients other
than wheat flour. Oatmeal is a nice touch and I look forward to trying
this recipe, the next time I fall off the low carb wagon.

And if you skip the eggs, you get Crash's "Accidental Brownies," which
are featured in the RFC cookbook (page 103).

You, you - you COOK! Damn, that looks good. Too bad we don't eat
cake very often.

I love cooking with wine.
Sometimes I even put it in the food.

Looks good for you too, if cake can be healthy - that one certainly
takes the cake.
