They make chewable calcium if you're interested.

I take my supplements faithfully every day. The ones I really feel
are important are the fish oil and calcium plus D. Also I take
SAM-e which has cured my chronic osteoarthritis (hip) pain.

nancy,

I'm very interested, now that you mention it!

I returned the "horse pills" but stood in line at customer service so long
that it sapped my strength to do much else.

Thanks for the FYI.

Best,

Andy

Andy - I bought calcium pills from Costco - and threw them out because
of size and lack of coating. Horse pills!

Also available are chocolate discs - named Adora. Learned of these from
the bone density specialist. She also recommended "Posture D" calcium,
since it doesn't cause constipation. The pills are coated and easy to
swallow.

Make sure you take Vitamin D also, in conjunction with the calcium.
They work together.

Interesting, Nancy - I had not heard of SAM-e. Might work for a lot of
us.

I take those.

I'm sure it's not overnight, but one day it struck me I wasn't in
pain. And I never am. I was considering hip replacement, so
that's a big swing.

I get it from Costco. $38, sometimes on sale for $32, when I stock
up. If you join the Nature Made wellness program and enter the
codes on the box, it's pretty easy to earn $7 coupons. I know, I
sound like a sales person. Just sayin. (smile)
