Default Making yogurt with organic milk

I have been making yogurt with a yogurt maker for the past year.
Recently I switched to organic milk and noticed the yogurt comes
out significantly thicker/firmer and tastes much better. Anyone else
observe this? I wonder what is the scientific explanation for this?
