LOL she cannot stand them and with good reason. That stuff is nasty.
Every time she is in hospital they try to make her consume those shakes.
However yoghurt-based fruit smoothies go down well, so we do try to make
those frequently.

Seriously, see if you can add whey protein ISOLATE to that. The stuff I
have, _I_ can actually stomach, and I'm picky.

Isopure is one good brand, but there are others.

Look to the body building community for stuff like that. Not health care.

This is a great product that is almost tasteless. You can stir a scoop
of this into yogurt, softened ice cream, soup or when you make Jello. I
dislike the name of the product - Unjury, sounds too much like injury.
You have to order by mail. Not sure if they send samples.

Hm. I generally get the pineapple/orange so am not sure. There are other
brands that are unflavored. Whey Protein Isolate is the key. No grit!

I've recently switched back from the local city activity center gym to
the local hard core gym. I've lifted on and off there now for the past
20 years or so. It's where all the local BB'ers and competitive power
lifters work out.

Nice "scenery" when I'm resting between sets. :-)

And some of the conversations are utterly fascinating...

On the up-side, I've got my deadlift back up to #105 for 10 reps. It's
a start. At my best, I used to be able to do #210. <sigh>

Yes she likes those and they do appear in the house from time to time.

She definitely doesn't like grits LOL. We'll have a look and see what's
what. Plain whey powder should be fairly tasteless.

When my mom was dying, I had a similar problem. She had no appetite due
to not being able to breathe well so I can empathize.

I just mix it up and don't do the same exercises every day for the most
part. That helps prevent boredom. :-) Weight lifting is my favorite
exercise...
