Then you won't miss them. But I'm sorry you've never had them. They were
ubiquitous, but still an institution.

I am sorry about that, I hate when things disappear that way.
It's just strange that everyone seems to know all about them
except me, can't imagine how I'd have missed them.

I have to assume that. Were they available when you lived
in NYC? Not that there's much you couldn't find there if you
wanted it.

I honestly don't remember, as that was 40 years ago. I spent most of my
life in Cleveland and they were available there.

Same here, I'm not a cookie eater, but...now Keebler or Pepperidge Farm or
even Famous Amos or some such, but not these...

In general, Mother's cookies were usually sold at a lower price point than
the current big names such as those you mentioned. Perhaps they were just
overlooked?

You've never had or even seen an Iced Circus Animal?

http://www.foodlocker.com/moncirancook.html

I'm going to have to see if they still have bags of these on the
shelves. These are so evil.

Nope. I can't really justify spending 22 bucks to try them,
unfortunately.

I obviously wasn't suggesting you buy anything. I was just using
the picture for reference.

I'll try to remember to give you the menu without prices next time.

I've never seen them or heard of them either. Even after clicking on
the link the logo still didn't ring a bell. Like has been stated,
they probably weren't in my area.

You could get together and form
a support group! :-)

(Imagine not knowing what Mother's Cookies are!
That's like not knowing Moon Pies or Tastykakes!)
