Several months ago (12 to 18) I purchased a reconditioned cuisinart large
waffle maker (makes 6). a week or so ago the front temperature know broke
off. The knob clips in with 2 plastic snaps.

I looked on the web for a replacement knob - not available.

So I contacted Cusinart customer service and explained my need. After a
while the lady on the other end of the phone came back and said they do not
make that part as a separate item.

The long and the short of it is yesterday a big box arrived with a brand new
waffle maker and the return authorization to send back the broken waffle
maker. There was no charge.

Damn - that's good service.

Congratulations to Cuisinart!

This is SO good to know! My Cuisinart food processor lid closure is bent
out of shape. Literally. It's not long for this world. I don't use the FP
all THAT much but when I do, I **do**. So I'm going to give the customer
service center a call and hope for the best.

Thanks, Dimitri.

I love my Cuisinart FP. I work it like a draft horse, and it still
works as good as ever.
