Default Does anyone have any Baby Food recipes that are simple and easy to make?

hi there all!

i am creating a book that will be named something along the lines of
"Simple Baby Recipes & weaning Advice."

It is purely in the research stages at present. The inspiration for
this was when i came to wean my baby (now 15 months) i hit i brick
wall when it came to home made recipes. maybe it is because i am thick
and young ! but i just didnt know where to start.

so i have come up with this idea to publish a book containing not
recipes from the internet etc but tried and tested home cook recipes
from mums and dads. My aim is to fill half the book with said recipes
and the other with general advice on food and eating for babies and
children.

Soo.. i have joined this group to ask if anyone has any particular
recipes that they have used and dfound to be successful that i could
put into my book. all recipes submitted (subject to the response i
get!) will be tested out by myself or friends and family with babies.
if they meet the criteria we are after i will put them in with your
name printed so you take the credit!

if anyone is interested in this or just purely would like more info on
this book when it is complete, please can you email me at
. even if it is to just give me feedback on
my idea (good or bad!)

Thank you in anticipation
karen

Peel carrots and pressure cook them until very tender. Put them in a
blender and puree them. Voila, baby food carrotas.

When my kids were that age we just put our regular food into
a food mill and ground it up for them. They ate it, and seemed
to like it. No special recipes, just the same vegetables and
meat and starches we ate ground into paste.

I think it's obvious, too, but I still think Karen's idea will make
her money and I think she has a great idea.

A babyfood recipe book is the perfect baby shower gift, and there are
lots of new moms and dads who would never think to try and make their
own baby food. Have recipes that include using a blender, a food
processer, and hand gadgets.

Put the idea in a book, add simple instructions, some appealing
graphics, and find yourself a publisher. You'd better hurry, though,
because you've announced to the world and someone else may beat you to
it.

Another idea is a pet food recipe book. When it comes to pets and
kids, people buy all sorts of stuff...

There are a LOT of books on feeding baby out there. One classic is
Lendon Smith's "Feed Me, I'm Your's"

Why do you need a book on feeding babies... you didn't need a book on
making babies.

LOL.. and I have some very pretty babies at that!

The best book I ever had for feeding babies was the classic Le Leche
League book "The Womanly Art of Breastfeeding" as once you got that
stuff figured out...everything else was pretty easy. "Feed Me I'm Yours"
is another classic.

I'd love to meet your two girls... I bet they're all grown up.
