Hi, I have a 6 month old daughter and read in Lucy Burney's book (Optimum Nutrition for Babies and Young Children) that amaranth, millet and quinoea are "superfoods" suitable as baby's first foods.
I'm planning to try her on these in a few weeks' time and have only considered using it as a base in place of baby rice, by mixing them with veg purees (quinoea and amaranth) and fruit purees (millet). I'm not familiar with these grains and am wondering if anyone has any recipes to share? |
