As you may remember, I wasn't charged for two years
of electricity due to a defective meter.

The first bill after the meter was replaced didn't
have a line item for electricity, only gas.
I figured maybe you get the first month free or
something when a meter is replaced.

The second bill also lacked an electricity line.
I called the electric company, and they said
they were working on it, and I'd receive a bill
in a few days, which I did.

It only had charges for that month, not the
previous two years.

I just today received my second electric bill
after the meter replacement. A whopping $8.00.
I think I can handle that. :-)

Maybe I should get one of those rechargeable
electric cars. :-)
