We are having some friends over to watch the 1/2 season premier of the show
"Jericho". It's about a town that has survived an apparent nuclear attack
on American. I need help with menu ideas. Any help is greatly
appreciated!!!

So far:
Maque Choux (A corn dish) - because of the time the corn fields had the bugs
and everyone accused the farmer of stealing the insecticide.

"Gracie's Grilled Steak" - because of when Gracie's grocery lost power after
the second electromagnetic pulse and the town had the big cookout to eat all
the meat before it went bad. I'm thinking of cutting a tenderloin for
filets.

Other ideas:
-"nuclear" hot wings for an appetizer

-What did they eat at their family Thanksgiving meal when they went around
the table fantasizing about what they really wish it was?

-salad ideas:

-desert ideas: "Rogue Rivers" Of Chocolate (chocolate sauce, ice cream &
brownie or something like that)

-Other side dishes:

-do something using the "food drop" that was parachuted to them but had
chinese labels and propaganda in the cases.
