marmalade
Is it possible to make marmalade with artificial sweetners in place of the
sugar? Does anyone have a recipe? Thanks KK |

You can do it but the fruit will still be full of carbs and therefore not
the best thing for a diabetic except as an occasional treat. "KK" > wrote in message ... > Is it possible to make marmalade with artificial sweetners in place of the > sugar? > > Does anyone have a recipe? > > Thanks > > KK > > |

You can purchase Marmalade made with Splenda. Smuckers has one and
there are several other on the market. They are very good. We enjoy them on a bagel or English muffin that has some cream cheese and topped with the Marmalade and broiled. Lovely with tea on your tea break in the afternoon. By the way regular Marmalade does not have much sugar in it. John |

Wish I could - I love them but their too "carb intensive" for me! An English muffin is ok. Wish there was some fiber in bagels and English muffins! Sherry |

It's still 5g carb per tablespoon. -- No Husband Has Ever Been Shot While Doing The Dishes |
