I have this posted on our refrigerator door, to give shopping hints to my
wife and daughter. Not everything may work for you. Adjust your portions to
your lifestyle and meter.

Vegetables & fruit that are good for Nick/Dad (with parenthetical notes):

Beets (1/2 cup max.)
Bell peppers - (no thanks)
Bitter melon (Yeah, baby ! ! !)
Blackberries (not many)
Black soybeans (?)

Cantaloupe (1/2 cup max.)
cauliflower - (NO thanks!)

Chile peppers - (any kind!!!)

I tried that once and I don't know how people eat it. It was sooo hot!

Good idea, Nicky. I should also add pennywort, which I like in salads.
Probably many others, but I just tried to hit the main ones.
