Default Krups Ice Cream Maker Model 337

Am I correct in assuming this is what is not sold as the Cuisinart Ice
Cream Maker? I purchased the Krups at a thrift store and was looking for
instructions. It looks nothing like the current Krups and very much like
the Cuisinart. It is make in Italy, of all places.

I have been looking at ice cream makers recently and it
seems a lot of them are made in Italy.

Sorry I can't help with your question. I am still looking
for a good self-cooling ice cream maker.

We have a Krups Ice cream maker (also bought at a thrift store). Ours looks
very much like the Cuisinart (which we also have) and seems to work the
same. It has a base with a lid with a hole in the middle of it and a paddle
and of course the cylinder. You freeze the metal cylinder, then when ready
to make ice cream, you assemble the whole thing, turn it on, and then pour
in your ingredients. If you put in more than a quart, it comes out of the
top as it swells with freezing. I checked for an instruction manual but all
I can find is a recipe book. We just put in yogurt mixed with fruit and
turn it on. Make sure you store the canister in the coldest freezer
available.
