Default NBBD Restoration

I have an old New Braunfels Black Diamond that hasn't been used in
years and when we were moving it in preparation for hurricane Frances,
one of it's rusted legs broke in two. I called the company and they
don't have replacement legs and the new Black Diamonds legs have been
redesigned, although the customer service person couldn't find the
part number or price.

So I'm turning to you folks to ask for assistance in designing a
replacement for the legs. It doesn't even have to be legs, it could
be a under smoke chamber cabinet, or anything that will hold the
firebox and smoke chamber.

I'm going to take the smoker apart, sandblast the entire unit and look
into getting it powder coated. Does this sound reasonable?

I'm also going to do the usually recommended mod's (baffle,
smokestack, etc). I'm open to any ideas to make this a better
product. If all works out, I'll end up with three smokers on my patio

Thanks in advance.

Mike
