Default Can someone suggest some site for fondant cakes..

Hi all,

I'm going to try and make a birthday cake for a female friend of mine and
I'd like it to be very pretty & special. Can you suggest a site that can
show me how to do it properly & show some pictures of some themed cakes?

Thanks a bunch,
SPOONS

If you don't find a site, check out a large bookstore. They usually have
several books on fondant covered cakes. The Cake Bible has a fondant recipe
( the one I use) and instructions.

I suggest the Parrozzo a tipical cake from Abruzzo. It's very good
(almond and chocolate .. it's Gabriele D'Annunzio preferred cake) and
easy to make.
You can find the recipe (and photo) here
