Asian cuisine styles can be broken down into several regional styles that have roots in the peoples and cultures of those regions. Due to this reason, there are so many different kinds of food that have their own unique style, taste and flavor. This is what makes Asian food so tasty.

Asian foods have a lot of varieties and some of them are "remakes" of what are found in western countries- all are also good tasting. It ranges from noodles, raw food, spicy, half cooked, etc. All these create a taste uniquely Asian. Let's not also forget the Filipino cuisine since their foods are also known in other parts of the world especially the "litson", adobo and sinigang.

Most Asian foods are cooked at hi temps because they want them to cook fast, seering the outside and holding in the juices. The reason for Asians to either use a wak at hi temp or oven at hi temp is because of the wood shortage back when wood was a primary fuel. To save fuel the meal was prepared quickly.
It won't dry out because it will not have to be cooked as long and the juices are sealed in.

Asian food made out of culinary creativity is the best you can ever have. A good combination of the ingredients from different cultural boundaries would be really inspiring and delicious. I have personally been to such restaurants, one that I loved the most is Sky Asian Fusion (www.ocalasky.com).

The food here is unbeatable. Next time you visit florida, hangout at this restaurant in Ocala and get the best of Asian Food.

I think for spiciness, Thai food wins. The flavors are so distinct (ex. pad thai, pad see ew, etc). It's become pretty popular in the west coast of USA where I live. There's a chain called Thai spice and it's pretty known now. Also, there's numerous Thai restaurants all over the place.

And apparently Europeans like it too. I was in England 2011 summer and found more than 5 Thai restaurants in one city. Pretty interesting.
Most thai restaurants tone down the spice. I love spicy. I'm trying to grow Bhut Jolokia aka Ghost Chili peppers.
Whenever I eat at thai restaurants, I ask for more spice...but they still don't get it spicy enough.
Sometimes, I'm tempted to bring my Dave's Insanity hot sauce.
When I travel to Japan, I usually go to a local grocery store and buy Japanese Red chili peppers. Then, I'll take them with me to add to my meals...but I try to sneak the bites of pepper in, because some restaurants will take offense.
