Default 500ml bottles

I'm looking for a source for 500ml wine bottles. Any color, as long as they
are corkable. Anyone got a vendor/retailer?

Are you looking for 500 ml in particular or "splits" which are
available in 375 ml (and 187 ml).

those are readily available and not hard to find

I also am looking for a source, the only place I found was:
http://www.waterloocontainer.com/products.php

But when I asked for a price quote, I never got a reply. Maybe I needed
to order 1000? smile.
Post if you find a source for all of us.

Call Waterloo, they're friendly amd responsive and I don't think you
need to buy a thousand bottles.

If you're ok with beer bottles, 500ml is a common size in Europe, so
most bottled beer imports should work. You'd need a capper, but caps
are cheaper than good corks, so over time it's a good investment - and
no issues with TCA.

I have bought them from Defalco's in Houston. Of course I live in Houston.
They were a little expensive but they are a nice size for a port or sherry
type wine.
