And what time did you say you wanted us to get there? )

Well, I've just finished making giblet stock, and stuffing; wrapped the
presents, and filtered this year's raspberry, blackberry and sloe gins.
Phew. Think it's time for a little glass!

>Anyway I hope you all have a good Christmas day.

AOL; Merry Christmas everyone.

Tom,
Might I add "Id Mubarak" which is the traditional Muslim greeting at Id al
Fitr and Id al Addah. In these days of increasing division between the
Christian and Muslim worlds I have to say that I spent many happy years in
the Sultanate of Oman. I also remember very vividly sitting in the
Intercontinental Hotel in Rawalphindi talking with a total cross section of
every sort of religion and it was only the Christians, Jews and Muslims who
had a common base to their faith!
It was, and is, typical of all the major conflicts which have divided us
internationally for hundreds of years. Sadly it goes on and on!
I make this comment as a retired British Army Officer who is still loyal the
Queen and the government. That being so, it is still not easy to see the
endless divisions that divide our small world. I will shut up!

An after thought.
Actually cooking really is simple!
Cooking is one of those things which is so easy! Either from recipes or, as
I do, by "feel". Chefs can just do it much more quickly -- BUT not
necessarily better than I!

Peace on earth and happiness to all.

Just keep in mind that when the space invaders come they will not
understand differences in race, religion, or ethnic heritage. We
will just be earthlings to them and they'll treat us all the same
- something we should have been doing for centuries.
