I have made many wine and beer wine starters for yeast in the past..
With no problems. I read that I was supposed to use juice of some sort.. which I didn't have. I took some of my ferementing Merlot in my 2000ml flask. Added some sugar and boiled to sanitize it. I let it cool, I forgot about it so it went down to 50°F in the fridge. Warmed it back to room temp, and added a pack of 3-X culture. It is now on the second day, shouldn't I see something? There is no action in the airlock. |
