Hello,
I'm back to this group after a very long hiatus.....and another household move. Are there any home winemakers in Arizona? I seem to come across a lot of home brewers, but no home winemakers or winemaking societies. I am cleaning out my garage and going through moving boxes that haven't been opened in 4 years and finding many unique and interesting things......I have some back issues of Vineyard & Winery Mgmt and back issues of Practical Winery & Vineyard that are free to a good home. Also a case of splits (24 count), never used that I'd like to sell for $10 and perhaps a case or two of green cab-style bottles to give away. I need the space in my garage. Cheers, Joanne Reiter |

Joanne --
RCW is still here, but in the past few years, most of the online activity has moved to www.winepress.us, hosted by Joel Sommer in southern Illinois. It's free, and is moderated, so it's pretty civil. There seem to be a dozen or more active folks in Arizona -- in and around Tucson, or Phoenix. Check the section on winemaking clubs by state. Doug Hudson |

You'll find a lot of discussions about grape growing and wine makinger in the state. Greg G. |

Greg,
I'm in Queen Creek near Power and Sossoman, so not as far as Johnson Ranch. I own a crusher/destemmer and a basket press...... I have reorganized my garage twice, so now have precious space (oh joy!). Joanne > wrote in message ...
