Default Any Home Winemakers in Arizona?

Hello,
I'm back to this group after a very long hiatus.....and another
household move. Are there any home winemakers in Arizona? I seem to come
across a lot of home brewers, but no home winemakers or winemaking
societies. I am cleaning out my garage and going through moving boxes that
haven't been opened in 4 years and finding many unique and interesting
things......I have some back issues of Vineyard & Winery Mgmt and back
issues of Practical Winery & Vineyard that are free to a good home. Also a
case of splits (24 count), never used that I'd like to sell for $10 and
perhaps a case or two of green cab-style bottles to give away. I need the
space in my garage.

Cheers,
Joanne Reiter

Joanne --

RCW is still here, but in the past few years, most of the online
activity has moved to www.winepress.us, hosted by Joel Sommer in
southern Illinois. It's free, and is moderated, so it's pretty
civil. There seem to be a dozen or more active folks in Arizona -- in
and around Tucson, or Phoenix. Check the section on winemaking clubs
by state.

I'm in Mesa; where are you at?

I second Doug's recommendation about winepress.us. Once you sign on,
search for Arizona. You'll find a lot of discussions about grape
growing and wine makinger in the state.

Greg,
I'm in Queen Creek near Power and Sossoman, so not as far as Johnson
Ranch. I own a crusher/destemmer and a basket press...... I have reorganized
my garage twice, so now have precious space (oh joy!).
