t.n. Robert Weil Riesling 2003
Just opened a bottle of Robert Weil Kiedrich Grafenberg riesling
spatlese and had to sha intense white grape character followed by lush candied lemons and limes, apples-pears and wildflowers. Lovely balance but a bit soft, mouthfilling, long and sweet. Loses flavor quickly as the glass warms up though. A steal at $20 where others have it at $50+, alas all sold out. God I wish I were rich enough to drink Weils wines every day! Cheers! |
