Dad brought back some wines from Italy this week.
One is a Ferro di Burroni Carlo Brunello di Montalcino '97 and the other is a Castello di Banfi Rosso di Montalcino '97. Now, I don't know much about Montalcino wines, aside from the fact that their a wee bit pricey, so I have a simple question: which should I drink first? I'm expecting the rosso to be softer and more approachable, but I'm not certain as to what to expect. I usually hate these kind of posts, 'cause "de gustibus non blah blah..." but I'm excited about these wines and I don't want to stuff it up ![]() Marcello |
