The Lotus Children's Centre is an NGO that has been working with street children in Mongolia for the last ten years. We currently care for 150 children of all ages, as well as running a kindergarten and primary school. As part of our endeavor to build a better world, all of our children are bought up on a vegetarian diet. However, the vegetarian movement in Mongolia is still in its infancy. We are working hard to prove that vegetarianism is a valid and healthy diet for children and people of all ages.

Currently we require one volunteer, possibly a nutritionist or someone similar, with knowledge of nutrition and cooking, to work with our Centre, providing information about vegetarianism to our staff, cook, and also the Mongolian authorities, who are not so appreciative of our efforts to promote a healthy, compassionate diet for the children. The duration and date of your visit would be negotiable.
