Hi,
I haven't been to this NG for a couple of years. My numbers are all within an acceptable range. The diabetic unit at my local hospital no longer wants to see me because everything seems very close to "normal". I have this NG to thank for that. The advice I was given and, while lurking, the advice given to others really helped. Thank you all. A friend of mine's mother is diabetic (type 2) and her numbers are rather high. She is on medication. Recently she was given a meter to test her blood. She was given very poor instructions on how to use it and very little information on when and why she must do it. I remember there was someone on this NG who always posted advice to newly diagnosed people. If that is you, (thank you so much) or if you have a copy, could you reply to my post with a copy please. Many thanks. Ray |
