Hi Everyone,
Has anyone tried Yamamotoyama tea (Genmai-Cha type) or the Brown Rice with Green tea kind??? I've recently bought it from a chinese supermarket and the tea bags come in aluminum sealed bags but I find that I have bad reactions to it like I get a headache after drinking it on a lot of occassions. I don't know the cause of this but I hope its not from them adding artificial flavorings or msg when they roast the brown rice and mix it in with the tea. |

Artificial flavorings or whatnot is most probably not a concern with Yamamotoyama's Genmain-cha. Perhaps roasted rice as a drink just doesn't agree with you. Mugi-cha -- made from just roasted barley -- makes me feel out of sorts. --crymad |

As far as I know, there are no other additives. |

Some take a few tastes, some would rather have their tongues cut out first. I happen to like genmaicha and Korean barley tea, but Earl Grey? I'd rather not. Chacun au son gout, I say. |

Perhaps you're right but do you think they add anything at all to the
roasted rice whether its artificial or not ? Or is the rice just roasted with water and whatnot???? Perhaps its not artificial ingredients but may be some other "natural" additive that isn't agreeing with me. crymad > wrote in message >... > Eric wrote: > > > > Hi Everyone, > > > > Has anyone tried Yamamotoyama tea (Genmai-Cha type) or the Brown Rice > > with Green tea kind???
