well... not really instant since you still have to stir for about a
minute,
teabags are close to instant, dont have to stir either, maybe squeeze
a little

I actually thought the process of how they make the instant tea from
this tea documentary I saw (modern marvels) was quite interesting. I
wonder how they make the tea to begin with, if they use tea bags or
loose tea. Hmmmmmmm.....

No No....not the reason. Preservatives and additives are bad for you. Hey,
if it is *all* tea, then its good. But the processing, additives, etc make
it not good, and you lose the healthful aspect of the tea.

Check up the USDA study here... (last paragraph of the page)

http://www.amazing-green-tea.com/hea...green-tea.html

The lower quality the tea leaves, the more processing. The more
processing, the less nutrients.

Check out the NIH study on toxic effects of "instant tea".

More convenient = chemical additives and/or increased factory
processing, both of which are not always good for you, to put it mildly.

Just as herbals have it over on new prescription medications in at least
one respect: some have been around for centuries, and so the side-
effects and contradidications are well known.
