I'm visiting the Lee's Summit/Independence area in Missouri over the
Thanksgiving timeframe. Where can I go around there to get some good
sushi (the traditional T-giving meal )

It is on the Kansas side of the border, but we're particularly fond of
Izumi's, a sushi bar with Japanese steakhouse & tea rooms, at 135th &
Quivera Road.
