Default trying to remember sake brand....

anyone have a clue? does it not exist any longer?

it was sold in a franchise supermarket here in the east coast... giant
super stores... sold mainly at the sushi/sashimi counter....

it was a rather stunty, broad and fat glass container with a foam like
label wrapped around it... and it was topped with it's own plastic
sake cup.

easy serve isn't it?

i wish i could recall more details... that was it. i don't even
remember the price anymore.. if it was a double digit or just grazing
it.

it was a nice number, wouldn't throw it out of bed, wasn't that great
but it was something i enjoyed... oh sure i can get sake at the store
or at the local sushi bar... but i just want to taste that cheap sake
again... if there's ever a chance.

????

This one from Gekkeikan? Sold in just about every grocery and liquor store
that carries sake.

except in ours now.. i went all over hell's creation where i live and
nadda.. only the local sushi bar has sake now.

i mean what the!?

i asked the grocer and they're like.. what? sake? what's that?
i'm like ugh! rice wine... and it's SAKe...... lmfao.

i give up.

this is so close to what i'm talking about... it had more a 70's
flavor on the label, big green letters on the side with the brand
name... then a white label... that's about as far more i can recall...

until later... but i think this brand you gave me the link to is
available at the sushi bar down the street from me.

of course their prices are murder on the alcohol... (not moreso than
usual) but there's a brand they offer for $60, can't pronounce it so
save country to socialism!

lmfao...

thanks.... i'm out of luck so far where i live... shame is i'm
pedestrian traffic now days.

i hear a trader joes (urk!) is coming to town and they have sake....
i'm not sure what they mean by sake... everyone has a different
approach.
