Default Storage & Dick's Instructions for activating

Me again... Wanted to tell y'all that I activated my Carl's starter a
few weeks back ( from dry "gift" ) and followed advice to keep a small
amount in fridge.. Yesterday took out container, stirred with
chopstick and used what was left on chopstick to follow Dicky's
directions... I am soooooooo pleased.. It is really active and all it
took was that little amount.. I am in the process of making sponge now
to bake from Wayne's pan bread recipe.. All of this on Carl's friends
site.... Made enough starter to use in recipe, put about 4oz in
fridge and have plastic plate with some drying to put in freezer.

I am happy camper, SF starter aside LOL and it's thanks to the
generous help on this list ;-) nancy
