Default Info to share

I am fairly new to sourdough bread making but wanted to share a couple
of items that I found that seem to be very practical for me (since we
have a fairly small kitchen) to use for starters.

Bed Bath and Beyond has 5 acrylic bail type jars that are great for
either starter storage or sponges. The are 20.00 for the set. Easy to
clean and seal up well. The small ones hold about 2 cups or more of
starter.

I found some .99 cent clear glass 'spice' bottles at the same location
and use these to store my different 'brands' of starters. They hold a
few tablespoons of starter; just enough to get a sponge going in one of
the bigger containers. They are easy to label and 'hide out' in the
door of the frig without being in the way. My wife likes a nice,
neatly organized kitchen, so I have to be as neat as possible or else!

I did get a small pizza stone also, and it has really made a big
difference in the way the bread turns out.

John
