Restaurant start up.. Where to start?
To any sucessful restaurant owners:
I have been in food servce for the last 4-5 years (Perkins Restaurant)
I recently moved into a position of management, and am being trained
in that area. One of my co-workers and I have been talking about
starting our own restaurant, but dont know where to start. We both
have great ideas to bring to the table, but where we both lack in
knowledge is how to actually put a plan together, and get the ball
rolling. I recently purchaced "The complete Idiots guide to starting
a restaurant", but any other resources, or advice would be greatly
appreciate... information such as financing, planning, book keeping
and the background operating systems in a restaurant is what im most
curious about...
