1 medium red onion, sliced
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 to 2 tablespoons olive oil
1 can (15 ounces) Red beans or 1 1/2 cups cooked dry-packaged Red

1 can (14.5 ounces) diced tomatoes, undrained
1/4 cup dry red wine (optional)
1 teaspoon dried sage leaves
1/2 teaspoon salt

casserole. Bake, covered, at 350° F. for 30 minutes; uncover and bake
to desired thickness, about 1 hour.
Makes 6 servings (about 1 cup each).
