Better Yet Oatmeal Cookies

EVERYONE loves these cookies, including my die-hard Oatmeal Raisin
Cookie
lover, husband.

Ingredients:

1 c. soft butter (2 sticks)
1 c. dark brown sugar
1/2 c. granulated sugar
2 eggs
1 tsp. vanilla
1 and 1/2 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt
3 c. old-fashioned oatmeal
1 c. chopped dates
1/2-3/4 c. coconut
1 c. walnuts

Directions:

Mix butter and sugars together until creamy . Add eggs and vanilla,
beat
well. Combine next four ingredients and add to creamed mixture and
mix
well. Stir in next four ingredients. Drop by tablespoon onto ungreased
cookie sheet and bake in 350-degree oven 10-12 minutes.
