Buckeyes
12 oz Peanut Butter 2/3 C. Butter or Margarine 1 t. vanilla 1lb. powdered sugar 12 oz of melting chocolate Blend first 3 ingredients add sugar and roll into 3/4in. balls. Chill for about an hour or so Melt chocolate (the microwave is great for this but watch carefully and stir) dip balls into chocolate leaving an oval shape without chocolate at the top. Dry on foil or wax paper. I use a toothpick to hold the balls while dipping them and this leaves the right amount of space at the top without chocolate. For those that do not know Ohio is referred to as the Buckeye State Enjoy these wonderful candies, they have been sent all around the world to our exchange student sons and daughters. |
