Chocolate Cherry Dessert
Ingredients:
26 chocolate wafer cookies, crushed
1/4 cup margarine
8 ounces (1 cup) sour cream
1 package (3.9 ounces) instant chocolate pudding mix
3/4 cup milk
21 ounce can cherry pie filling
Whipped topping
Red candy or sugar sprinkles
In a mixing bowl, combine wafer crumbs with butter. Press into the
bottom of a 8 or 9 inch square baking pan. Place in freezer for 10
minutes. In another mixing bowl; combine sour cream, pudding and milk.
Beat on low for 1 1/2 minutes. Spread over crust. Spoon pie filling on
top. Cover and refrigerate until ready to serve. Spoon up each serving
onto a pretty plate; top with a spoonful of whipped topping and the
red sprinkles.
