Cooking Corn (on the cob) in a microwave.
I have come to prefer using the microwave over all other methods. Of course, if you have a lot of ears to cook, boiling may be more efficient. I'll admit it is not original with me and I think I read about it in the Washington Post. It is very simple to cook corn in the husks without any preparation . Three minutes per ear is normally right. If the ears are very large, you may have to trim the stems and tassels to make them fit. With best regards, James Silverton.
